Recomended Off-road Protection
So I've got the Mantec "sump" guard (but I'm not sure that it actually covers the sump?). I've seen that the complete under-body off road protection from D4x4 comes in 3 pieces but I was wondering what people consider to be essential protection and what people think is a belt and braces approach?
I'm not into mud-plugging or bash and crash but I just wondered from people's experience, what they consider to be must have protection for your D4?
A bit of green-laning and the occasional light pay and play day is probably the most serious I'm going to get.
i've got a Mantec and RLD rock sliders. that's always been good enough for my off-roading which has included trips to Tunisia, some serious green laning and pay and play events.
The Rock-sliders (or tree slders version) are great, far superior to the plastic sill trims that come as standard and should you happen to ground on over a rock the do their job admirably Certainly would recommend those as their cheaper than having to get your sills and doors repaired/replaced.
