Torque Converter

Hi all,

Quick one!!!!!

How can I tell if the torque converter is on its way out?

Under load it struggles a little and almost feels as though it is not pulling/hesitant or even small shudder?

You need to get a mega flush done and see if this fixes the problem as it sounds like it needs it..

d'yer get a rumbling noise that appears between 30-50 mph when towing and a slight amount of vibration when turning around roundabouts at say 30 mph when towing Question

If so its most likely the transfer box...... going to investigate next week.......does anyone know the oil for it?

No I don't get a rumble just a lack of kick down and when it does a sort of struggle/shudder when picking up again......

It is in garage at the moment but I bet they can't identify the issue!!!!! I guess it's difficult to diagnose an issue with Torque Convertor?

is it down at Bristol Transmissions by chance, I'm over there next week to have me transfer box drained and looked at Thumbs Up
