No they can't.
As with the later 2007ish on D3, it monitors the flow, so it will create at fault code and bring on the EML. ..so what can I fiddle with today that ain't broken ...?

Only correct interms of D4, Pete from BAS has successfully developed a software patch to enable blanking of whole model range of EGRs on D3! Interms of D4 one can hope Pete come up with plan but unlikely with D4's being under LR warranty. From what a good friend( level 3 teck at LR dealer)Has said replacing EGR on D4 will require body lift? A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2
MY09EGR's blanked Thanks Bellautos, BAS

Sorry but your friend at LR cannot be much of a LR tech if he says that. Had one changed on my old D4 under warranty and it was done within the day with No body removal. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

If thats what the mawell says then they might not have had the body off ? but i bet they billed the time for taking the body off, Which isnt that long a job ?
