| Best type of fixed towbar 3500kg? |
|
Hello there looking for advice on the best type of fixed towbar. My current towbar is a detachable which is too low for my tri axle trailer.

Mines a Witter and it's spot on, tows 3500kg daily mostly all day too

LR adjuatable one , tows my tri axel trailer spot on , forget its there on lomg motor way journeys its so well behaved

Tow-Trust TL1 fixed bar. No worries about it wearing  plus at £157 delivered its a lot cheaper.

Just double check that the witter bar with the alko towball is rated at 3500kg. I seem to remember that it was not, but that it might have had something to do with the MTPW. Worth checking if you are thinking about getting one.

Witter bar is rated to tow the maximum permissable tow weight of the car - 3500kg with 150kg nose weight on the bar.
I don't know of any towbars that are EC approved at a lesser tow weight or nose weight than the car is plated to tow....?? 2013 Evoque
