Hi all, in May my d3 went out of manufactures warranty, there were a few aftermarket warranties available but all were quite expensive.
I eventually found one that gave me warranty for the lifetime of my ownership of the vehicle, it cost me £688 including dealer rates and egr valves.
Today it went in for a door latch failure, I was somewhat worried as to wether I had bought a lemon or not with regards to the warranty.
They accepted the claim submitted by guy salmon Sheffield no quibbles, cost for the repair?
1 new latch and fitting £190
So warranty cost now stands at £500.

Hi guys, the price paid is a one off, 1 payment only, and cover is on a rolling 3 yr policy, each 3rd anniversary you have to send some info too em.
The company giving the warranty is autoguard no I've never heard of em either, I bought it through my vehicle warranties,
Chap called Ben , they have a new underwriter now offering same deal but with wear and tear, no idea how much but I didn't get that

All I can say so far is that the guy I dealt with has been very helpful and patient, and that the warranty company's staff were very polite .
And they paid out.
There are some restrictions but aren't there always.
