FBH Timed/Remote Upgrade For D4 12MY

Any update on whether the timed climate with remote option is available as an after market option for the 2012 MY XS as yet?

Get my 2012 at the begging of March, will really miss it if we have a few cold snaps!

I've alse been reading about additonal pipes and valves that may be required that are supplied if added as a factory option, is the new to the current model or has this been the case for previous.

I am interested in the activation of the FBH on my MY12 XS, such as is offered by Flack and maybe others.

Forgive my ignorance but what are the benefits ? Does the engine get warmed up as well as the interior ? Am I right in thinking that if it is enabled, then the FBH can be timed (on the nav screen) to come on at the same time each (cold) morning for a set time ? Living in a very cold (and high) part of Scotland, that would be great.

i'm not sure I would need the remote option which is much more expensive but am open to persuasion.

I'd appreciate some advice from those in the know.
Thanks

SLB

Yes bud it would give you just that, the engine gets warmed from the water that heated from the fbh pump so when you startup your engine temp already warm and the car is nice and warm, there are a couple of options for it.

Flack Thumbs Up
