Brian GOG (Green Oval) has only just recently started posting on the forum even though they have been a sponsor since 2011. Obviously I don't know how active they are reading on the site, but have to say its a very SPAMish PM (sorry Brian) "Even simple fault diagnosis (h)as taken on a new level thanks to CAN and LIN bus wiring, smart charging and other new technologies."
People market in different ways and I fully understand Cameramans frustration.
Saying that, I have used their services and was happy with the friendly service provided and can only recommend them.
Maybe best to start a new topic next time Brian so everybody can see what you have to offer Faultmate MSV2 MultiVehicle

Well although it's not technically against the sponsor rules I do tend to agree with some of your points there chocolademan ...it would perhaps be best to just start a thread ...I'm sure none of our sponsors want to become a chore to site users in a similar way those pesky PPI chasers who keep phoning me every 10 minutes or so

Hi Cameraman,
Thanks for letting us know about this, I do apologise that you received it through PM.
I'll be in touch with Brian at Green Oval; the message isn't malicious but as Brian has only recently started using the forum actively then it seems to be a misunderstanding about how to use it.

I don't know why you have put the for ?
Yes it did say that and technically that remains correct ....however having discussed it further with Martin we agreed that we don't want to overly promote this as an avenue for sponsors as we can understand that site users may not wish to receive them. So the post that was originally there was deleted to reflect that.
I apologise if you feel aggrieved 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I'll be honest, I don't see the problem. If my local indy was a sponsor and contacted me in this way with a bit of information about the services he offers, the work he can do or maybe any deals he has on then I would be fine with it.
Sometimes it's a little prompt, y'know "oh yeh I need to get that done" or "oohh I fancy one of those" or whatever 2014 D4 XS

Cameraman I would demand your subscription for using the site to be returned to you at once for this heinous crime!
Err hold on a moment, we get to use the forum for free at Martin's invitation so your post is a bit out of order.
I tend to agree with J@mes, if it wasn't for site sponsors it would make the site more difficult to sustain so receiving the odd pm seems a bit over the top to chuck your toys out of the pram, after all we expect discounts from site sponsors so maybe it should be a two way street. They can email/PM us about offers services and we accept it as part of using the forum for free. Cheers Ian
