Whats the best place in Essex for warranty/servicing work? I bought the car from Lookers Hadleigh but was disappointed in their reaction to my tappet like noise under load. They suggested that this was quite normal and they all sound like that, but I can't believe that after hearing how everyone says how refined an engine the TDV6 is. My oil level was also found to be about a litre overfilled, and this was their demo! Now call me old fashioned but this sort of ocks is what I expect from a 16 yr old grease monkey not a main dealer. To overfill a car with oil is clumsy but to leave it that way means it either wasn't rechecked after filling or it was and it was ignored, not good enough. I have seen the other threads on the tappet noise and they don't really have a result as yet, so my intention is to drive another D3 while at the dealership to prove the difference. The only other dealer close by is Stratstone in Woodford Green, unless you know better of course. Think there's another Chelmsford way. But I don't want to sound like a whinger but it cost me alot and I want it right. Then I can go for the TC remap  FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!

Mine was not far off that for the 15K... £160 odd at Shukers Ludlow. Some time ago now though.
