NL Local traffic advice please

Hi guys, I will be driving from Schippol in a hire car with the family around 3pm on Friday to Zwoller (actually to Heino) are there any problems with heavy traffic that I need to be aware of please.

3pm to 7pm is probably the worst times to drive Highway A1. There isn't an alternative, so fingers crossed!

Cheers for the advice guys, that's decided then, I will cancel the car and we will take the new Hanzelijn to Zwoller and the local train to Heino . Far less stress with 6 kids, appreciate the advice. Thumbs Up

Watch carefully on the train time tables since they are operating on a "winter schedule" these days due to the snow and ice.
This means fewer trains and a different time table. Trains can also be more packed then normal.
Road conditions are pretty normal now; only tuesday was a mess because of the snowfall.
Around Schiphol/ Amsterdam there is always some kind of heavy traffic around the time you mentioned but to be honest I don't think it will cause a delay for longer than maybe 10-15 minutes.
