drivers door wont lock
picked my D3 up today but only too find tonite that, when you lock it the drivers door dont lock!
unless you push the button inside first them lock it any idea????? pllllzzzz

Pretty common fault on here (try a search) and a new lock mechanism is around £40. It is a DIY job to replace with basic tools (but took me over 2 hours as I think my hands are the wrong shape)!Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Just had my rear door done at Lr £65 lock, £90 labour then vat. £189 all up.
My symptoms were, rear door not locking when button pressed to lock, or not unlocking when doors unlocked, unless using the manual door tab ( little black lever under the big silver one) even that didn't always work.
All sorted now.
