Better securing your hatchbag... ideas?

The velcro on our hatchbag is all peeling away and I'd like a stronger way of securing it to the car... anyone got any ideas other than buy some more velcro and getting a super-adhesive version?

Do the press studs stick on or do you screw them into the plastic?

Do you need a gun of some sort to attach the studs to the hatchback?

you get a little tool for fitting them ...basically a small hole ...then put stud through the hatchbak and bash with hammer to flatten inside bit ...

sounds worse than it is
