Tail gate latch adjustment
Hi all
My new-to-me Disco 4 had the upper tail gate latch mechanism replaced not long before I bought the vehicle. The upper tail gate needs a fairly hefty slam shut for the latch to engage properly (much more than the Disco 3 that I used to have). Is there some way to adjust the latch so it closes better?

Although I can’t help with exactly how adjustment is done, I can confirm that adjustment is possible. (Presume you mean the top opener?). My car, when new, had this issue so it went back for adjustment so it didn’t need you to throw it at the car to get it to shut. It’s been fine ever since.

just pull off the rubber cap where the latch is and you will see the two bolts loosen then adjust
