How easy is it to remove speedo and RHD headlights |
|
I might need to remove the speedo for an IVA test to add one with MPH and kph mine having only the latter
How easy is this to do?
Any body got a spare speedo (even not working) that I could borrow.
Also might need to borrow some RHD headlights for a day or 3 if the ones fitted don't have a flat beam pattern like the ones in the D3. Could be halogen or xenon.
Hope I am not asking for too much

Hi Adrian
Yes the car has kph only speedo and IVA needs mph and kph
So if I can get my hands on a speedo I can swap them round for a day if easy to do
Best regards, Ian

Ok. Spoken to Vosa and they said if the dash display can show MPH all the time and its illuminated then that should be fine and dandy.
Does anyone know does the D4 dash allow you to display MPH or KPH on a uk car all the time?

Hi Ian
I've just bought some headlights to D4 my D3. I'm planning on do the front end conversion next weekend or the one after. Would you be done with them by then?

Hi Brian
That would be great. Only trouble is I am waiting for the IVA date and suspect I might not have it before next.
Will let you know ASAP
Did you find out anything else about the sat nav?
Best regards, Ian
