Still looking for underneath protect for Disco 4 2012
I am still for a complete underneath protection for a Disco 2012 (with the 8-gear box).
At this time I only have the sump guard from GH vehicule protection and I am looking for everything else.
I only seem to find protections for the pre-2012 version with the 6-gear box.
Any good products you know?My fifth Disco ...

Thanks Lee.
Hi Cedwat, as Lee (Ent) said, we make a full underbody protection system for the D4 (as well as the D3), all of the guards are also available separately.

Okay Ben.
I already sent a request through your website, but I can do it here too.
I have a few questions:
1- Do you send to France
2- Do you have stock or is there a delay
3- Are your parts compatible with the Discovery 4, model 2012, 8-gear, which I have been told is a bit different than D3 and D4 6-gears
4- I already have the GH protection sump gard, so what parts from you would complement that?
Sorry 4 questions but better to fire all in one go! 8)My fifth Disco ...

Hi cedwat,
1- Yes we do ship to France, I will send a quote back to your email.
2- We don't have stock, but we are making new parts all the time. It depends on what you order but for a full set current lead time is approx. 3 weeks.
3- Yes they are all fully compatible with the 2012 model, 8-gear D4. In fact the parts were designed from the scan data of that exact model. Also there are no differences in underbody between the two D4's.
4- I'm sorry, we know most of the Discovery protection guards on the market but we are not familiar with the GH protection guard. if you send an picture to our email address we can advise on which parts you need / are compatible.
Regards,
Ben

Prospeed are developing their own sump guard that offers increased front protection by incorperating extra fixings on the very front of the plate that rest against the Disco's chassis. I'm sure Ben or Olly will be along shortly to explain.Club Exped trailer

Thanks Lee, top form as ever!
Just so you all know whats available, from front to back we have;
- Front guard (D3 available, D4 on its way)
- Sump guard
- Centre guard
- Rear diff guard
- A arm guards (front and rear)
What Lee has called sump guard we are calling our front guard (bash plate if you like), it is currently available for the D3, the D4 front guard will be along soon. As he rightly says, there is an extra pair of fixings at the front to rest on the cross member, giving much more support on the front lip.
To complete the system we also make rock / tree sliders and a compressor guard.

When do you reckon your front plate will be available?

Hanechdene,
The front guard for the D4 will not be available for at least a couple of months, we have a number of other products that we want to release before Christmas.

Ben

Could you let me know the difference between your rock and tree sliders? I couldn't quite tell the difference from the website photo as the shape look the same. Does one sticks out more than the other? Thanks.

Hi lm5370,
All of the photo's that you have seen will of been of the rock / tree slider combination. The rock sliders are sill protectors. The tree sliders are only available with the rock sliders, and are actually a detachable part, see the photo below.
So your options are;
Rock slider:£498
Rock slider with tree slider bar: £792
(Prices include vat)
