HDC Fault, Transmissin Fault etc
I recently jacked up my 2005 TDV6 S Disco3 to do and oil change and diff. oil change(thanks to infor got from this forum). All went well but when i got the car back down and started her up i got HDC Fault and Transmission fault on the discplay. The vehicle looks like it is sitting down on the suspension. It was perfect before. Can ayone offer some assistance or advice on a possible reason? No its not the battery or rear brake lights

If you jacked it up the wrong way it might have lost calibtation and requires suspension recalibrating
Just the thought

It says Transmission fault limited gears availble and HDC system not available. How do I get the error codes?

Some feedback on my Disco. I took it into the dealer. The diagnosis was the rear diff motor faulty as well as the air suspension compressor. This was about GBP1700 (ZAR20 000) sob!!!
I am now on my 5th discovery but am starting to feel its time to make a change. On this one i have had to do rear diff, torque converter lower control arms. Its never anything small.
Think i have had enough...
Anyone have a comment on an ML or am i on the wrong forum? Ha Ha
Bit late I know but the first thing you should have tried is a hard reset. With the description you gave I can not see how the rear diff could have been part of the problem. It sounds like normal fault codes that will goaway with a hard reset.

By a Hard Reset do you mean... disconnecting the battery after waiting the appropriate time, shorting the power leads on the vehicle to discharge capacitors and then re-connecting the battery leads?
If not PLEASE let me know for next time
