I'm sure it will be OK
I've got one that I use for the caravan battery (110A) and keep as a spare in case the C-Tek ever packs up - it works fine but can take a while

Interesting comment about not working from new Tawny.
I bought one of these on Saturday after reading about them here on the forum.
I took it back Sunday as I couldn't select any mode, just the standby light constantly lit.
The replacement was exactly the same so I connected it to a known good battery and hey presto, worked perfectly.
I was initially trying to recondition a long since discharged battery and it appears there must be some life at least for the charger to "see" the battery connected. Mods:

, I was using it on the D3 so the battery wasn't in complete discharge state .
Lost confidence when that happened so went for the CTEK

Bought one of these from Lidl last Tuesday
At £14.99 with 3 years warranty it does the job
It perked up my 'spare' Disco 3 from under the bench in a few hours......
.....then went into trickle charge mode
Measured the battery voltage at that point - it was a nice health 12.86v
So no chance of boiling the battery dry if left connected 8)
This will be ideal for my ZZR 1200, Tin Tent and Disco 3 Cheers, Dave in Essex

^^^^.....what about the Digger, it will feel left out
Yes I forgot my favourite toy. Well spotted
If fact I am out first thing with it doing a driveway
Think of me in all that frost The digger with it's Yanmar engine has never failed to start.
In fact when left for several weeks at a time it's ideal for one of these chargers
BTW - loaded the remap last night. Immediate improvement.
Full results will be known once I have done some serious towing and filled up a few times.
Thanks again M8 8)Cheers, Dave in Essex

I`ve had and used mine a few years now and just last week charged up the twin batteries on the Hilux no bother.
The standby light can remain on for quite a while until it determines the state of the battery before it begins its charging cycle.
They`re a good little charger, a bargain.
