Hi,
just want to tell to you that my Disco 3 has now been great for 1.5 months already, no issues and faults at all. Just happy driving.
It is now 42 000 driven and during the lifetime it has visited for 11 warranty repairs. I already seriously considered to change to Audi Q7 but most likely it would have had as maby bugs maybe.. Main source of faults in Disco 3 has been with different components of air suspension. Luckily finally it seems to be OK (faulty sensors fixd, grounding fixed, compressor changed etc.) and now running really well

Glad to hear that mate
I've had only one issue (cruise control) so far and first anniversary is very near by
Or is only reason for good reliability that I have no air suspension

9 months old, 16,500 miles and no problems. Just had first service last week. Only very minor warranty jobs have been to replace wiper blades and rear speaker.
The only problem I've had with the car is the annoying juddering wipers. And the thirst for diesel! Matt

My Disco is with manual gearbox and seem to consume only little diesel.
During summer, it goes with about 9 liters/100 km.
Now on winter I have massive ski box on the roof and then it takes 9.8 or roughly 10 liters. Not bad at all for a masive and spacy car with 2.7 tonnes and huge storage space.
Normal Volvo or Mondeo should go below 5 liters to gain the same liter/kg ratio but would still lack luggage space and 3rd row seats.

Mine is a year old and 17,000 miles or so. No problems, no bongs, again just juddery wiper blades are only annoyance.
D3Matt - did changing the blades help?

Mine is coming up two years old and 11,000 miles done, had the front tyres replaced and the rear parking sensor ecu as well, apart from the software updates I think its great.
I had more trouble with the dealer than the motor ... but thats another story.
