I had spotted this too & as someone who works in the emergency services I can't think of a situation that could start with an undamaged car & end with a convertible!
I am desperate to know what happened, my professional curiosity is killing me! Have shown the picture/story to a few paramedic friends and they are as baffled as I am.
I love their comment that the car is not responding to the key and that it's PROBABLY due to the wiring being damaged!!!Nick

Certainly puzzling as to why it was done like that.

My guess is that someone became unwell in a parking lot and the doors
could not be opened either side to allow proper access to get the person out.

You'd have to be clinically insane to buy that for £21k and attempt to repair it.

Someone wanted a panoramic roof?
I hope they let the car go to sleep before cutting the wires
Looks a bit neat for jaws of deathIt is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.
