Trip Computer Question

Hi All

Very new to Disco ownership (2-weeks) and new here, so please be gentle! I was pointed in this direction by others with Discos as the source of all information.

Overall pleased with our new (to us) Disco, but one thing is driving my nuts - and that's the Trip computer. It seems that all three trip options (A, B and Auto) all re-set once the car has been stopped? Surely there must be an option to have a continuous count of mileage, for example I like to Zero trip at fill-up and see how much I get on each tank.

Handbook implies that with Auto there is a add previous trip option, but that relies on me selecting Auto then adding previous trip each time I get in car. Is this the case????

Every car I've owned in last 25 years - mainly VAG stable but back to first Nova had a trip which just kept going until re-set.

Am I being dense? If it can't do it then at least I know and will stop trying to solve it.

Nope - tried with both A and B and they both reset to Zero each time car is started

Having had a further play, do suspect a gremlin. If I change other settings, such as speed warning or alarm sensors, the changes are not being saved.

Take it back to dealers as I think you have a problem, mine stays and counts up mileage on A & B when you turn off the car.
