Had this on the electronics forum and our British cousins say the connection is at the rear of the centre console but our export models must be different, I have a 2008 TDV6 SE with the standard radio. Decided to connect an MP3 player, book says connection is at the back of the console but nothing is there. Push the Aux button and AUX comes up on the radio so it is functioning. Does anyone know where the plug connection is hiding?

ISTR if you don't have the Aux socket there, you may still have the wiring hiding behind the blanking plate. May be worth investigating before doing anything more drastic. See Wiggs' 4th post on this thread. Andrew

And if you don't have the wiring behind the blanking plate, you'll have the wiring behind the passenger footwell kick panel. There are pictures of this in the post Andrew linked to. I cut the wires there and soldered a standard 3.5mm extension to where I needed it. Dennis
