Lots of spare bits in the engine bay were an engine should be!! And a 54 plate, wonder what went wrong.

I'm sure it could be squeezed in... To be fair I don't think its had a loved life. Look at the colour of the drivers seat compared to the rest! it needs a right good scrubbing down! Being a HSE though if you have a cheap engine and could do the work, then get the plastic all sprayed up to match you could possibly sell it on or live with it as is for a while... I'd say its best job would be as a stripper or export to oz/nz...FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner

Factor in the cost of a 2nd hand engine (if you can find one), add to that a potential suspension rebuild which it will probably need at 170k miles, and whatever else the car needs. It then doesn't look quite so cheap My D3 Build Thread
