Dropping a D4 to the bump stops?

About a year ago i had a new tyre fitted and before jacking the car it appeared the fitter dropped the car to the bump stops - rim to arch about 1" from memory leaving it very low with what appeared to be a lot of camber.

I'm assuming there is some sort of button combination/ process that allowed him to do this but can't find how to do it, anybody know the solution? I've tried a search on here but only ay suggested appears to suggest a faultmate is required

thanks for any advice

Unless he had some sort of diagnostics plugged in ... I suspect it would just be a combination of jacking it up and suspension trying to sort it's self out .

Why would you need this function ?

didn't see any diag tool and it took him about 10 seconds IIRC.

Would like to drop it to the lowest level as the dog's getting old and jumping out the back is becoming less of an option!

D3 & D4 should always be jacked up from off-road height according to manual, so not sure your tyre fitter knows what they are doing Question
