Fallen for the Discovery, now just contemplating on which to get..
What are the going prices for used?
Discovery 4 XS about 30k?
Could we get a low mileage (under 50k miles) D3 HSE for about £15k-ish?
I really like the new interiors of the D4 and the engine is better, but not sure it's worth the £15K difference - especially with rumours of a much lighter/lower mpg D5 coming out in two years?
For the used D4 we'd probably go to a main dealer - but where would one bag a good deal for a good condition D3 HSE? Any forum members want to sell theirs?

Have a look in the for sale section, yes on the d4 price, probably on the d3 price.
