warranty direct

hi all im going to book my car in for front wishbone replacement but I use a indie close to me,the only problem is I have to settle the bill first and this one will be quiet expensive so ... has anybody used there recommended garages because I think they might fob me off and say there not covered or there no knocking or play from them so they haven't got to settle the big bill or am I just being paranoid. cheers daz

Mine failed it's MOT on a wishbone fault and Warranty Direct paid without any fuss.

I took it to a main dealer and they covered the main dealer repair bill minus the £50 excess.

Had my bushes done by my own indy - WD paid up. No real issues, just check they get the repair time allocations right.

Thumbs Up

Just make sure you get it authorised first. No authorisation (get the number), no payout and they stick to it. Thumbs Up

Just submitted latest claim yesterday. Now (like my last claim) you can just scan in the docs and email them, got the cheque last time couple of days later. Mr. Green

Looking at my bill, I think the Land Rover Procedure is no. 64.35.16 - Bushing - Lower Arm - Front Pair Renew and the standard Land Rover time is 1.1 hours.

If the garage uses 1-Link (spelling?) they can authorise it online - dead simple.

Just got a nice juicy cheque from the good peeps at WD. Almost paid for the year's premium alone. Mr. Green
