Insurance & Blackvue
Well time to renew my insurance in over a months time.
Going to make them aware that I've a Blackvue fitted to record all driving events.
Now what will they do:
1] give me a whopping discount as any probable incident will be recorded ?
2] bang up my premuim as my D4 will be more susceptible to break-in?
3] or make do difference whatsoever.
My money's on "3".
[I'm an IAM member and that's suppossed to get better insurance, but it doesn't make one damn bit of difference!!]
Anyone receiving a discount because they have a Blackvue fitted??...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

they will probably treat it as a modification and void your insurance Duncan

UK insurers haven't really grasped in-car recording as much as other countries.
I think they are worried that you might be able to tamper with the evidence ron ...like you editing out those late night gulling sessions for example 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I think your right I go for 3
It is strange that the UK insurance company's haven't jumped on the in car recording.
You just have to look at YouTube to see the scrap that's being driven in Europe with devices fitted.
I would say there's more cyclists in London with go pros than there is drivers with black vues.

I'm that naive I had to Google 'gulling'
Now why would I want a fish up my @rse
gulling
The practice of standing on the edge of a cliff/rubbish dump with a fish inserted into the anus to encourage gulls and other birds to swoop and retrieve the fish for food, thus pushing the participant over the threshold....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

GULLING
practised at dogging venues. The audience that is watching the participants 'dogging' in a vehicle masturbate, having achieved ejaculation collect thier result in hand and flick it on the 'doggers'
elliott wrote ' gulling is addictive, it ruined my life. I lost my job, my wife, my house, all thanks to becoming Gullman"
