In Tesco's carpark (Banbridge, Co. Down) today, I spotted a D3 in Java with.... The letters 'L A N D R O V E R' across the bottom of the boot It did appear to be the proper decal as across the front bonnet, but neatly placed on the plastic strip across the bottom of the boot door, near the bumper (ala RRSport style!)
I am just sorry I didn't have my digi-camera with me... and sure I know my phone takes pic's, but I barely know how to make a call with it!!!
If spotted again... I will get my 3 y.o. daugter to snap it!!
Any opinions from the mass????? Est-ce que bonjour, vous aime ma nouvelle découverte brillante gentille trois, je pense qu'elle regarde les boules de chiens, pas vous ?

Is it me (or the wine ) but looking at the Q8 pic... does the letters go up hill in the middle, then back down to the end.... poss. caused by how they are made for curve of bonnet?Est-ce que bonjour, vous aime ma nouvelle découverte brillante gentille trois, je pense qu'elle regarde les boules de chiens, pas vous ?

Now this may seem a stupid point and slightly off topic. I assume the lettering comes from the leading edge of the bonnet. Just wondering if these letters would fit on the recessed lettering on the optional 'A' frame. sad innit ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

yeah Chocolate, I agree and think the silver lettering will contrast well with the black frame. We'll just have to wait for the experts to get back to us....where is TFC when you need him?...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

After seeing this post, I thought what a great idea, so ebay there I went! Stuck them on today, (god it was cold in the wind). Here is a pic so you can see what it looks like with the Discovery 3 lettering rather than LR3
LAND ROVER lettering across the lower tailgate applique, Super Charged exhaust tips . . .
I can see a few of you are beginning to see the light. Arctic Frost RR Sport. TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Tow pack, PTI, Privacy Glass, Tasmods, Mudflaps & a RRSport umbrella in the boot.
