Should EGR look this bad after only 15K Km?

Hi
Just fitted the Bell Auto's EGR blanking kit on MY05 TDV6 Discovery 3.
Every thing went just as per the instructions.

One thing that did surprise me was how heavy the deposits around the stub pipes and butterfly value were.

You might ask why I was surprised ? - well I had a NEW engine fitted 15K km ago. (16 months)

Now I am questioning what is actually included in a NEW engine ?

Regards,
Richard

A new engine includes block, heads, oil cooler, front cambelt and inlet manifolds/cam covers and everything internally.

EGR's and inlet housing would have been your originals Thumbs Up
