Hi Jeff, I've just had a set fitted. They are reasonably quiet but I have not had them on long enough yet to really comment. Your quoted price seems high though. Mine were $395 fitted and balanced.
Cheers

Many thanks for the info. Your price was excellent. I have had only one quote so will shop around this week. Do you have the LR mudflaps? Very Happy

Try your nearest KMart tyre centre. I had a set fitted and balanced last week at $350 each. Got them from Kmart tyre and auto in Norwood, Adelaide. I think I got a good price on them. The nearest Bridgestone select outlet had quoted me $400 each.
Nice tyre - pretty quiet on the road. Only city driving so far.

Had a set fitted today $359 per tyre fitted and balanced here in Perth. Very nice so far though spare was a squeeze because of the towbar. Very Happy

Thanks for the info guys.....have been looking at these tyres as no.1 choice, great to get some feedback.
I'm looking at upgrading in a couple of months.

It's been a month since the last post...how are you guys finding the perfroamce of these tyres? Not too noisy?
How are they in the dirt?

Thanks again...

Have not tried them in dirt but so far the tyres and wheels are great on long country runs and around town. I tow a 3 tonne boat and they feel very secure. The only problem is it has taken six attempts to get them balanced! The sticky weights have been falling off due, I suspect, to poor workmanship from the tyre fitters. Seem to have it right now though (fingers crossed). On attempt number five they knocked the inside weights off one wheel when putting it back on the car. The rotors run very close to the wheel so you need to be careful with this. The tyres feel much stiffer in the sidewall as you would expect from LTs. This takes a bit of getting used to after the softer Tyres I was running.Very Happy

BTW, noise is not an issue with these tyres - they run very quiet.

Tyres were great especially on deep corrugations. Did some some drifting on fast dirt but then the "road" had been chopped to powder by road trains! Very happy with tyres and rims. Very Happy

Guys - I can also report positively on these tyres. Recently I've had them to Coffin Bay National Park and Lincoln National Park as well as the Bridle track near Melrose. - All good. Performed well in sand (at 18psi), on limestone outcrops, general dirt roads and they also perform well on the highway, with very little road noise. Would definitely recommend them Thumbs Up

They also seem to do pretty well in the wet. Based on some big downpours in Adelaide recently!
