Off Road Camping Trailer Plans
Right, i have my Sankey trailer and i,m about to start the build..
Where the hell do i start
Does anyone know if there are any plans out there to do such a build?
Im talking detailed plans not following someone elses build..
Wanting to put a howling moon tent on top, bbq area, cooker, table etc etc ,can such plans /cutting list/assembley drawings be bought anywhere??
If not ill just make it us as i go along

Make it up as you go along, like the rest of us.....
I used millimeter paper to draw my trailer build on.

I was only asking because there seems to be drawings left,right and centre for tear drop trailers i just wondered if any one had done a set for a trailer. Theres a gap in the market if you do make a set of plans.
I,m just flat out and want a trailer asap.

Indeed there could be a gap! As long as you make it flexible enough and a reasonable price range, could be considerably cheaper than the current Sankey based bodies that you can buy. Bodsys Brake Bible

I like that too, don't even need the expense of a roof tent.....nice insulated Ex ambulance body. Is it heavy?

I've never had it weighed, but (apart from the chassis & frame), it's nearly all aluminium and can be manhandled with ease
I used to tow it with an 1985 110 and it didn't give me any problems at all Trust in those who dare and you shall also win.
