Bouncy Low Speed Ride

Just had the front suspension arms replaced on my 59 plate XS (76,000 miles) The ride prior to this was fine with the associated knocking of the worn bushes.

Upon picking car up first thin I noticed was the knocking was gone. Second thing I noticed was that the low speed ride seemed to be very bouncy and wallowy.

Any road imperfections seem to have it jumping around and out of shape. Almost feels like its running in access mode!

After getting arms replaced I had expected ride to be better.

Have checked tyre pressures running 33 in fronts a and 36 in backs 255 55 19.

I did have the front tyres changed from Pirreli Scorpion zeros to General Grabber GT. Still running Pirelli on the backs. Wouldnt have thought that would be the cause.

Have car booked in again on Friday to make sure they have connected everything back up.

I would probably be looking at the geometry first of all if you habe had suspension work done.

Not "alignment" or "tracking" but full on geometry check using Hunter of similiar equipment.

One quick check would be to put your front wheels on the back and vics versa to rule out tyres being the issue.
