saw an odd-spec HSE on timeteam on C4 at the weekend, it was in anglesy (spelling)
Baldrick was leaning over it using the bonnet as a desk!
HSE wheels and interior but no cornering lights and ?? no headlamp washers
It was Cairns Blue I think (with big TimeTeam Decals) 2007 HSE Java Black.....sold

Well the cornering lamps weren't standard in 05 HSEs. 06 HSE models gained the adaptive headlights, cooler box, rear aircon and PTI as standard over the 05 models. Not sure about the lack of headlamp washers though - were the headlights even Xenons? IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

LR have long used Time Team for product placement; they have had lots of DIIs over the years, always blue and with the Time Team logo on the bonnet. Producer Tim Taylor drives a FFRR which you occasionally see creep into shot - I've no idea whether it's his or is part of the deal (I'd imagine the latter).
I'd imagine TT is good targeted marketing for LR. They must use development or test vehicles for the deal, hence the 'odd' spec.

when I popped into Stratstone in Solihull last week, they were loading a new D3, badged HSE, onto a transporter. It had 17" alloys on it.

The 05 HSE had xenons, but not adaptive. However there are pre production cars kicking about that had odd specs. Are you sure it was an HSE? DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
