| manchester air port to mansfield , whats best ? |

Well its not a parcel its me  i am byeing a volvo T5 gt convertable from mansfield  i can fly to manchester air port from cornwall but need to get to mansfield , any ideas of the best way , train, bus etc , willing to pay £50 to £75 cash if any one going that way   -------------------------------------------------

I am going Leeds this Saturday up the M1 so could easily drop you at Mansfield , collect you somewhere on the M5 ?

It's a long round trip for me but I'm originally from Mansfield and know it well. Will be able to offer directions to your final address if need be.
If you're stuck for the lift, how about then going by train to Chesterfield? I will gladly take you from there to Mansfield.

There is also National Express but looking on line the bus is 13.55 and takes 3 hours !
Don't think you would get from aircraft to bus in 25 minutes.

Glad you have it sorted - dont forget the RAC cover for the return journey just in case!
I shouldn't worry about the 300 miles...............
You will have plenty of time to think about those while sat in the que of traffic on the way home on M1, M42, M5 and A30 on a Friday afternoon.
And dont forget your passport to get out of Cornwall - this must be twice this year you have gone in to Europe
