Birmingham to Perthshire?
May have sourced an engine
Only thing is its in Birmingham. Have been quoted £150 to bring up the road. Would rather the beer money went to someone on here though. No great rush as yet.
Engine is complete and still has the gearbox attached, so is a fair length and weight

Mikey,
If you can sort out a trailer,i am going south on Monday, drop trailer off,get them to load, bring trailer and engine back up Friday.
Sound like a plan?

Graham, edited...
Brian, sounds ideal but I can't find anyone willing to leave the trailer in an unknown area overnight, and I don't know if there is any indoor storage as yet.
Thanks for the offer though. Will be in touch if I find out any more My D3 Build Thread

Well it's a bloody long way but if you could get it on a trailer I'd be up for a go.

Would love to say yes, but having been shafted over 3 separate engines, I am starting to loose interest TBH...
I don't have a spare day to travel and collect it myself, otherwise I would. Dont have a spare trailer either for anyone passing. The guy won't put it on a pallet.

Ok chap.
If he wont play ball then im stumped but if he can get it onto a pallet (i may be able to get a 2m one) and my mate has a trailer I could perhaps get it and bring it back to mine.
Maybe then separate them onto a pallet each and see what I can sort out.
If hes not too far and the weight isnt too bad I could do a recon mission for you.
Like I said if the sellers a norbert then im stuck tbh.
