New type of vibrations...
Many vibration types have been discussed here. However, I have not found anything like this on the forum.
I have problems with my MY2010 D4, 245 hp with (100000 km) 62000 miles on the meter. The story began when it vibrated in the brake pedal and steering wheel when braking. The car ended up in the garage and they changed the steering rack, steering wheel, brake discs, brake pads, steering joints, wheel bearings, etc. Everything on the warranty. When I got the car back, the car felt like new throughout the chassis except that it had started to vibrate in the steering wheel and the seats during normal driving between (100-125 km/h) 60-80 mph. The steering wheel commute right, left about 1.5 cm. In addition, the car felt much less safe on snowy and muddy roads than it was before. The car had to go back to garage where they have tested the wheels (even with other wheels), the air suspension, revised the work of the steering gear, etc.
The car is still in the garage and they do not know how to continue the troubleshooting.
Is there anyone here who has an idea of where the vibrations come from?Discovery 4 SDV6, SE, 2010

Tyres possibly put back on different wheels? Maybe a 4 wheel alignment is needed?

Thanks for your replies.
A four wheel alignment is already made twice. The idea about the balance weight on the propshaft is forwarded to LR.
Obviously one drive shaft and the front diff have been changed a few months ago (just before I bought the car).
I´d be grateful for more ideas...Discovery 4 SDV6, SE, 2010

x2, if you've had any wiring done say under the rear bumper for trailer lights for instance, easy to block the weights from freely moving on one side.'97 NAS D-90 - 2.8tdi with ZF

One each side of the chassis rails at the rear can be seen just above the rear silencer a light brown colour, you should be able to grab hold and rock them.

An excellent description. Many thanks. The LR mechanic could unfortunately see/feel both are movable. So now we are stuck again .Discovery 4 SDV6, SE, 2010

All parts were new.
2,5 years ago- The drive shaft was replaced when the car was basically new because it simply broke in low speed in a city.
5 months ago- There was a noise in the diff and it was therefore changed.
All other stuff (steering gear etc.) were changed 2 months ago due to the vibrations...Discovery 4 SDV6, SE, 2010

Problem solved! After a period of about 8 weeks at the garage, LR tested to replace the right driveshaft with a new one. It was a success! The vibrations are eliminated

Problem not solved!
Now I have been able to enjoy the car for a few weeks ... Today the vibrations returned after the car had summer tires mounted. The car was lifted up completely, winter wheels were taken off, summer wheels were mounted on (the summer wheels are perfectly balanced). When I started the car, I was asked to wait the suspension setting. Then I drove away and the steering wheel vibrates again. The vibrations comes and goes but always with a feeling that something is loose. It is interesting that the phenomenon occurs after suspension have been stretched out when changing wheels.
Any ideas, please?Discovery 4 SDV6, SE, 2010
