I think the disadvantages of FaceBook are well known & documented, and there are many who would never use it - I for one.

Because a Facebook page for a forum seems a little bit odd Wink

Martin - is there not some magic button you can press to seamlessly integrate the forum into the the FB page LOL! Wink

FB is certainly a more social / media driven animal than a forum which is for here has a massive amount of knowledge sharing. Is there a place and purpose for a Facebook page?

FB has a place as a centralised social area. I use facebook, I interact with people from this forum, other forums, colleagues, and friends/family, all in one place. Its easy to access on my mobile device (Blackberry)I can choose who I interact with. What annoys me are the automatic entries on FB from people who share their horoscopes, or their latest achievementsin 'Farmsville'or whatever its called.

Don't use it, I kind of think it's an argument looking for somewhere to happen. Rolling Eyes

Took a look at Twitter once, WTF is that all about???? Totally lost on me.
