The best sort of tyres to have on smooth rock like that. More surface area to grip with, in comparison to say MT's with an open tread pattern.

Thanks, the tires are Goodyear Duratrac….I have been using them for three years and love them. Awesome tires for all around trails here in Colorado. I did not lower the air pressure on this climb even though it was steep, it was short. It's amazing what these vehicles can do and it surprises me every time I'm out. This Sat I'm going with the Land Rover dealership here in the Springs to the Great Sand Dune national park a couple of hours south. Never have been there before and looking forward to some fun.
