Detachable toolbar not fitting
I've just bought a detachable tow bar from eBay which, although stiff on the lock, just seems much too big to get in the fitting bracket on my D4 anyway - inside it just looks too narrow to fit the thing.
Has anyone else come across this? Am I missing something?
Thanks
M

It's going to be stiff to get the catch to go in enough to get into the fixing, but even then it looks too narrow at the top

They can be a real to fit. Grease it up, and persevere. I have a new genuine LR one and the first time I tried to fit it I was out there for about 25 mins in the rain. Took me 10 mins last week. Get a feel for where the locking plunger thing comes out. The bar doesn't go quite as far into the receiver as you might think.PAGODA

You need to turn the green handle anticlockwise , and pull it outwards to get the big pin to come back in , before you try and fit it to the carG4 Gone ...but not forgotten
