Reversing mirrors, mind of there own

Hi I have the mirrors that dip when im in reverse, however when i put the car in reverse they dip down fine but a few seconds into reversing they come back up on their own and then a second or two later they decide to dip back down again.

Has anyone had this issue or know how to get over it.

Thanks in advance. Thumbs Up

It's speed related, if you reverse slowly the stay down. If you go above a set speed (I haven't worked out exactly how fast) they lift up and then if you slow down again they dip again.

I only discovered that a few weeks ago when I had a long straight reverse to do - I don't normally reverse fast enough for them to lift up.

I think it's really useful. Thumbs Up

Are they also dependant on steering wheel angle input? Still undecided whether I like them or not.... Sometimes as your reversing and your trying to fit in a gap they move unannounced and I find it most off putting? End up thinking I'm doing something wrong and I'm about to hit something.....
