How many D3's in your neighbourhood |
|
I live in a small village there are only about 50 houses in total. The local LR count is
3 D3's all silver.
2 D2's
3 Freelander's. There was 4 but mine got swapped to one of the D3's
1 FFRR (local lord of the manor)
5 old defenders or series Land Rovers
1 forward control that either visits regularly or is based in the village, I've never managed to find out.
That's 15 within a mile radius.
Silver is a popular colour round here on all makes of car as its mainly chalk and the mud dries white. On a dark coloured car just driving from one end of the village to the other makes it look like you haven't washed the car in months.

its funny as they are both java black and people keep mixing us up
as our reg plates are very similar
he's a local farmer and I'm a drug dealer ... so its very funny....
he was stopped the other night by guys looking for some grass.
he told them he couldn’t help them on that score ... but could sort
them out on a bail of hay if they were stuck.........

We've got about 4 Freelanders and 1 V8 D2 on our small (50 houses) estate, no D3s but 1 silver HSE on the next estate. Loads of Land Rovers if you go further, we live in a small town in a rural area so you can't move for farmers Defenders and battered D1s. The country lane leading behind our housing estate has one farm with a D3 and FFRR on it, and another with a number of classic range rovers. Not a D3 owner

Total of 4 houses in a 1 mile radius, 1 D3 and one FFRR, so 50% of all houses in my neck of the woods
Moving soon to a small village/hamlet and the guy over the road from the new place has a...... 2006 TDV6 SE in Buckingham Blue. Glad I opted for Cairns! I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I'm up for that... a North Berks/South Oxon meet in a nice rural pub around West Isley, Peasmore or surround villages. Matt
