I tried to replace my bulbs with LEDs to no avail.
It's an odd arrangement. The top bulbs are stop/tail bulbs and the replacement LEDs went straight in. The bottom bulbs are only tail lights, but the bayonet fitting (and indeed the current bulbs) are for stop/tail bulbs.
The replacement LED (stop/tail) went in but only partially illuminated.
Anybody else had this problem?
Is there a solution?
I thought perhaps solder a connection between the 2 power connectors at the bottom?

They only go in 1 way because the pins are offset.

The rear lights on the D3 are both stop and tail bulbs but only the top brake filament is swithed. This means that both upper and lower use the same bulb but only the top are wired for the brake light.
If that makes sense FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!

I'm not sure, but search my threads for LED, I'm sure you will dig up some old threads with part numbers etc.

I got mine in Halfords, but only the top bulbs work - I'm thinking I may need to reverse the polarity.

That's the point - only the top bulbs work - perhaps I need to reverse the polarity of the lower bulbs.

I think that in some markets the extra brake filaments are for the rear fog lights. Certainly they appear to be in the Aussie spec! 2017 Range Rover Sport TDV6 L494 Fuji White
