California Roadtrip & Some Plane pics for those so incli
Hello All,
Recently back from our second trip to California in a year. Daughter's boyfriend lives there - the best kind of boyfriend - one that lives 750 miles away
Bit pic heavy, but here you go. St. George, Utah on the way down:

Remember my last roadtrip with the solar farm in the pic? One tower was working this time - there was a really odd atmospheric effet to the right of it. The picture does not do it justice, fascinating to see.

Then on to Victorville, where they store / dismantle planes in the desert. Only got to spend a short time there - note to self make sure family are all all fed and watered BEFORE suggesting looking at planes

Next day, 4th of July, instead of the traditional fireworks I got an array of warning lights, error messages and bongs instead. Alternator gave up the ghost - thanks to those of you who responded to my request for help.

Great pics as always, wouldn't like to follow that shiny truck at night though.Displaced Yorkshireman.
=^:^=
SDV6 Auto obviously, Loire blue/Ebony, ugly kid glass, RLD wheel protector, private plate and maybe side steps.
Minivan was terrible - Dodge Journey Sport - Not quite sure what part of it was meant to be sporty but I did not find it. Cramped with terrible visibility.
At Victorville there was a recently arrived BA 747-400, but not in a spot condusive to pictures. Sad to see them go...'80 109 Stage 1 V8 - still going strong!

I've done that road to AZ before - really takes you through the middle of nowhere.
No tours of Victorville, but if you are so inclined AMARG in Tuscon does guided trips.
