Diamond Bright and Car Cleaning |
|
Hi Everyone
My wife just picked up her new HSE Auto on Friday and we're both over the moon with it .The dealer tried to sell us a Diamond Bright protection pack for the inside & outside of the car at about £350 which I though was crazy .Does anyone know of the best wax/polish system I could buy to protect the paintwork and any suggestions for the outside plastics on the car and leather and carpet inside the car ? We've got 2 young daughters so I'm anticipating spillages etc.Any other tips on how to keep it looking nice and new would also be appreciated!!
Many Thanks
Tony

Diamondbrite is a pretty good polish, buy some yourself from ebay for about £10 and only takes a couple of hours to do.
If you want to go 'all the way' with polishing try Zaino. www.zaino.com great stuff but a lot more involved.
General wiping of the leather you can use baby wipes quite well and for more in depth cleaning / protection use Gliptone. Zermatt silver 06 reg.

Bought some DiamonBrite off e-bay & applied to my three year old black c-class. Seems to bring up the shine pretty well and as Cliff's mentioned, it's easy to apply and only takes a few hours of your time to do it.
Got the carpet spray stuff and the two part polish for a tenner. Doesn't seem as though there's much polish in the 100ml packs, but there's plenty. Just make sure you follow the instructions about the 2nd part of the polish application. Don't forget plenty of clean cloths for the final removal/polish.
Either that or part with £350 of your hard earned & spend the time looking up off road routes instead Bodsys Brake Bible

Always try and use decent quality microfibre cloths, especially on dark colours. As Bodsy says have plenty of them to hand Zermatt silver 06 reg.

This is his website, he was the only one I found who would ship out of the US. http://www.sjzaino.com/
I put in an order for myself and another forum member (who dissapeared soon after ) and made a decent saving.
If you do order from him would you mind me tagging a couple of top up bits onto your order?
Cheers

Cliff,
Yeh no problem with adding some bits on .What products do you want and i will email him with the list .
Obviously much cheeper from USA but will have to find out shipping costs to see if its viable.
Oh , and is it realy as good as they say?
Thanks G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Don't you think that would be a bit abrasive on the paintwork In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
