Stolen spare.

Thought I would ask the Aussies and Kiwis if having the spare wheel stolen is common or is it just the UK as it seems to happen a lot over there.

Mine has been on the back of my D3 (spare wheel carrier) for almost 7 years and the vehicle has never been garaged. It has been in Sydney then Darwin and now in Townsville and never had a problem.

Again, Oz experience.
I've not heard of any D3 wheels being stolen, but do remember a number of Defender wheels being stolen when parked on the street outside a LR club meeting in Sydney.

Best Wishes,
Peter
