Thought I would ask the Aussies and Kiwis if having the spare wheel stolen is common or is it just the UK as it seems to happen a lot over there. Black pack, Traxide D4-1U with jumpstart, Whispbar Rack, Nanocom, 285/50r20 Cooper LTZ's, Side steps, NZ spec-no DPF.

Mine has been on the back of my D3 (spare wheel carrier) for almost 7 years and the vehicle has never been garaged. It has been in Sydney then Darwin and now in Townsville and never had a problem.
I thought you sent all your convicts to us and only kept gentlemen in the Old Dart Take the road less traveled. Dual battery system.ORS drawers,LR cargo Barrier.ARB Bull bar,side protection bars,Mickey Thompson ATR's 17" rims, Rear wheel carrier, radiator guard TPMS Mitchell Bros Tow Hitch LR RAI Steel Rims , GME UHF, Off Road GPS, Llams (yet to be fitted)

Again, Oz experience.
I've not heard of any D3 wheels being stolen, but do remember a number of Defender wheels being stolen when parked on the street outside a LR club meeting in Sydney.
