New D4

I part x'd my D3 for D4 at the start of April. The D3 was brilliant and never gave any trouble whatsoever just routine servicing but wow the D4 seems to be a whole step change better. If the reliability is as good as my previous D3 I will be very pleased.
Couple of questions please. Is it possible to unlock the satnav to give off road satnav as my D3 did.
What else should I consider on a new car with 1500 mile so far?
oh and mud flaps, oem or after market?
Thanks.
