Hi, so I'm new here. Went to buy a new FL2 dynamic fully spec'd the other day (I already have a FL2 HSE)
Ended up putting a deposit on this though
I'm quietly quite excited and giving hubby my FL2 for his commuter workhorse
Only problem is I was supposed to be getting a wee 2 seater toy next year as he has his motorbike and I miss something agile & speedy but that will have to wait a wee bit longer now spending out extra on the disco... great thing is my doglets wont be cramped in the boot & wont have to have the split seat folded down to accommodate them.. kids will be pretty comfy too I guess

I used to do "agile and speedy" and thought I would return one day....but was out for a run in a friends TT yesterday.....and agile and speedy felt crashy, uncomfortable and claustrophobic after wafting around in a Discovery for the last 3 years....
Maybe it's an old age thing....
Welcome btw,you won't regret it "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...
Locking rear E-diff
RLD spare wheel protector & sump guard

D4 Firenze my2012 HSE
D3 Java 2005 SE manual (sold, sadly, thanks for the memories)
1966 '88 Series 2a....still starts in the morning better than I do...

I'm not exactly young BUT we have a D4 plus an MGF and we love them both.
The MG has a fantastic club and we join in rallies all over Europe
The D4 is a great ''tug'' for our Airstream and has no hesitation pulling it and once we have pitched up the D4 takes us into some fantastic places again all over Europe. LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF

Thanks, must admit I am pretty excited now, nothing against the FL2 at all as I like it fine enough but it was never the most spacious really. I used to have a 335D M Sport & loved it & will hold out for a wee 2 seater but prob looking at 2015 instead of 2014 .... a girl shouldn't be greedy I guess
Think the discovery looks great in the corris grey with black pack, it just so happened that was the show room one sitting that took our eye (and put the deposit on) spec is fine as it has the black pack, mud flaps, sills & stuff but only thing it didn't have I'd have wanted was the reversing camera's so might need to looking into retrospective fitting. (Would have been probably Dec if we'd ordered one & I'm not known for my patience )
Is there a link to anywhere that has a list of retrospective things you can do to the D4 ?
Hubby didn't think much of my pink hatchbag suggestion

Thanks for the link.
Went in today with my plate retention document & all being well should get to pick up on Friday
They are putting on door moulding thingys (hubby wanted for protection, sensible I suppose I just hope they don't look daft) and also he's ordered black things to go round the headlights ? Not sure what purpose they serve but hey ho.

Delete the door mouldings, order the pink hatch bag
If pink is a no go then go for red and have the quilted liner - would look quite smart with a corris grey car

Body side mouldings are a good idea.
I wish I had them on my FL2 as it keeps getting dinged in car parks. Next car will have them. Arrived: 2014.5 Range Rover Sport HSE SDV6 in Loire Blue, Ivory interior, piano black trim, privacy glass, panoramic sunroof, tow bar, mudflaps and full size spare 8)
Gone but not forgotten: 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE in Santorini Black, 19" Alloys, Ebony interior, piano black trim & grab handles, privacy glass, lux pack, rear spoiler, mudflaps and twin electric tow bar
