Torque Converter Y85/F77 difference?

Does anyone know the difference between these two different torque converter types? There's a Y85 part number and an F77. Slightly different prices to them as well.

I'm looking to find out if one has superseded the other.

One is quieter in operation than the other, apparently

Is the Y85 the quieter one? I've been quoted the F77 as being more expensive so maybe it's that one, who knows Laughing

I've just been through the ZF Parts catalogue. They don't list the discovery 3. They do list the Discovery 4 2.7 tdv6, with the only option of torque converter being the Y85.

I guess this is the one to go for.
