Tow assist

Can tow assist by retro fitted, swmbo isn't getting the hang of the trailer!

From my limited knowledge, I think this was part of the surround camera package, so may need quite a bit of work.

Thanks for that, I have done a search in here and read conflicting threads some say I need surround cameras and I'm sure one said that just a reversing camera needed.

That is my understanding too. No surround cameras = no tow assist. Would think it's very expensive to retrofit, if even possible.

Practice, Practice, Practice, that's all she needs. Years ago at practice for an up coming farming competition one of the girls couldn't back a trailer even 6 feet. her father saw what was happening, the following weekend at the competition she beat all of us hands down. She ran rings around us in reverse.

If she is having trouble backing using mirrors, then she should try just looking back out the drivers window. I have a commercial so I always use the mirrors and on tight bends the electric mirrors come into their own.

She has been "Practicing" for two years now - it doesn't help that she has to think what's left and what's right Whistle
