I've just bought a MaxxRaxx Premier 4 courtesy of Moo (Simon) and will be looking to do precisely that.

Thumbs Up

Does it just fasten to the ball?

Be careful with these except the MaxxRaxx - MaxxRaxx is the only one on the page shown that doesn't clamp to the ball. The others fit on the tow ball itself so you can't tow as well as use the bike rack.

The MaxxRaxx allows you to do what you are looking for and it will fit a fixed or swann neck detachable bar (with the correct adaptor).

OP didnt mention towing as well as using Bike Rack

I bought a MaxxRack some years ago and never really got on with it - found it fiddly though that could just be me so I bought something similar to the Atera Strada, though cheaper as only planned to use it for short distances with kids bikes (it did weigh atone though - Strada looks much better)

Now its just me so I just put bike in the back of the Disco - nice and easy and I'm not worried about seeing a load of broken carbon fibre in the rear view mirror Very Happy
