I bought a genuine N&S electrics kit and fitted it to my old 2011 D4, took it off when sold however my mechanic is no saying he can't fit to my new 2012 D4 due to a missing connector.
I watched him take off the electrics from my old car and he only gave me the two lengths of loom which the actual N&S sockets are attached to. Is there another connector that he should have taken off or is the 2012 electrics different?

I am sure that Nick (TLO) said there wasn't a difference but am sure somebody else has mentioned that they don't fit but I can't find the post at the moment  Cheers Ian

I had the same fault
You didn,t take of the link plug from behind the head light
thats what you are missing
you can not by the little loom kit
so you will need to buy tow wiring kit again Remote time climate
Surround cameras
Privacy glass
Tow bar storage
Side steps
Chubby cooler
Genuine LR rubber mat set
Genuine 2nd row seat covers
4 x black wheel centre caps

When I bought my D3 the previous owner had made the same error, took the tow gear off and left the cable from the fuses behind, there must be a lot of these cables around as I too had to buy the hole kit, this left the said cable spare, sorry I no longer have it. It can when others can't,
