I bought a spare cover and cut the hole as the pic. My Disco came with the Euro plug and I have the UK adaptor installed.

What's the difference between the euro connector and UK ?

On mine are 2 connectors installed. A white one and a black one.
The black one I can use in Belgium

The new euro type has many more pins and is a twist and lock.

I simply glued some half round pieces of plastic into the fixing clip slots and now I have twist of units. A few guys have seen them and it is so easy.

Mine came from a UK dealer in Nov 04 (their first one) and thats what they fitted, I didnt pay much attention. The 13 pin cant be any worse than the 7 pin plug. With my adaptor I have both!

Edited!

Do you think someone will want to work on a remote opening option for the cover? Shocked

might not be linked...

I have attached my old trailer and its plug was slightly humid, to say the least... I had a go, a stop and when starting again, bingo !, massive failure reported by the in board computer.. an orange warning parking brake sign, and two icons litten up in the small menu at the left side of the dash board.. (under the speedometer)... Could that have been the result of some messing up with the tow circuitery ? I don't know but I'll follow up closely..
